Helen is an award-winning Global Entrepreneur, Non-Executive Director, registered speaker, author, coach and leadership expert.
Trusted by both UK and foreign governments to tackle some of the most complex issues in the world’s trouble spots, Helen was awarded an MBE by the Queen for services to international trade in 2022 .
Helen led the scaling and internationalising of her company (a proven international business success story), from humble beginnings to tackling modern-day issues such as terrorism, corruption, cybercrime, people trafficking, drug smuggling, war crimes, dementia, addiction and medical forensics, to celebrate its 25th anniversary (the company’s most successful year ever), double in turnover, and successfully deliver in almost 30 countries - winning Best Small Business in the UK at the National Family Business Awards at Wembley Stadium. The work of her company positively impacted thousands of people around the world, including in Bosnia Herzegovina, Ukraine, British Virgin Islands, Bahrain, Kenya and Afghanistan.
Helen went on to found Helen Gibson MBE (www.helengibsonmbe.com) to reach and help more people. Today, Helen is a Mentor for the Cherie Blair Foundation Women in Business programme, regular speaker for the National Federation of Women’s Institutes, a UK Export Champion, and a university Lecturer. Helen was appointed as a delegate to represent the UK at the UN Women Commission on the Status of Women 2024. She has featured in The Guardian, Business Insider, International Journal of Education Management and on BBC Radio, and will soon publish her first book “Go for Goosebumps!”
