Nicole Buffett!
Nicole Buffett is an artist whose work integrates modalities ranging from traditional painting and textile design to digital art. Nicole is driven and inspired by the healing aspect of art and the ways in which nature centered living, spirituality, and community all intertwine. Nicole is known for utilizing her work in the digital space to drive support and attention to ecological and social causes.
Some of her significant blockchain projects include partnerships with The Open Earth Foundation, Liquid Star, Hope for Haiti, Blankets of Hope, The Carbon Fund and The Center for Council.
Nicole developed a love of art at a young age, inspired by a long line of leaders and visionaries. Nicole earned a Masters of Fine Art at The San Francisco Art Institute and has exhibited her work in galleries and museums around the world including: The Andrea Schwartz Gallery in San Francisco California, The Institute of Noetic Sciences in Novato California, The Djerassi Artist Residency in Woodside California, The Frye Harbor Gallery in Seattle Washington, The Beijing Exhibition Centre in Beijing China, Digital Domain in Los Angeles California and The Ui Contemporary Museum in Suzhou China.
Nicole has been awarded prestigious artist residency programs at the Djerassi Leonardo Artist Residency program, the JB Blunk Artist Residency program and was an honorary textile artist in residence at the acclaimed Anokhi textile company in Jaipur India.
Nicole's influence extends across numerous media platforms, with appearances on notable outlets such as Oprah, Marie Claire Magazine, The Wall Street Journal, MSNBC, NPR, and Forbes. She has been recognized by Fortune Magazine as one of the top 50 Influencers in the NFT space and The Elite Global Leaders conferences around the world.
Nicole sees the role of the artist similar to a translator- bridging the gap between the spiritual and physical worlds. She is driven by the desire to experience the power that all forms of art have to heal our relationship to ourselves, each other and the Earth itself. At the intersection of technology and art, Nicole seeks to reshape the ethos and identity of humanity by showcasing the power and ancient wisdom of storytelling alongside modern mediums that support the collective healing of the human family.
