Heather Mills is a British entrepreneur, philanthropist, activist, and former model best known for her humanitarian work, advocacy for disability rights, and pioneering efforts in the plant-based food industry. After losing part of her left leg in a motorcycle accident in 1993, she became a powerful advocate for amputees and people living with disabilities. She founded and supported numerous charities, including the internationally recognised “Adopt-A-Minefield” campaign, which helped clear millions of square metres of landmines and assisted hundreds of thousands of amputees around the world. Her resilience and determination also led her to become a world-record-holding athlete and motivational speaker.
In addition to her humanitarian work, Heather Mills is widely known for her commitment to environmental sustainability and vegan living. She founded VBites, one of Europe’s leading vegan food companies, helping to popularise plant-based alternatives long before they became mainstream. Mills has also been involved in campaigns for animal welfare, including efforts that contributed to the European ban on dog and cat fur imports. Throughout her career, she has used her public platform to promote health, sustainability, and positive social change, inspiring audiences worldwide through her activism, business ventures, and personal story of overcoming adversity.
